My two cents on the announcement:
- the first hour of the presentation about announcing sidebars, recoloring icon colors, and all sorts of bullshit you can skip, they brought Android over
- liked the gestures in AirPods, nodded yes, shook my head no, been waiting for that forever
- finally my Mac will start accepting push notifications from the phone, and testing will be more convenient
Then AI. Musk got toasted by a privacy-first company :) good. But overall I still don’t really get how all of this is going to work quality-wise. What matters here is how much the system will adapt and whether it will at all. Or did we just freeze the weights in memory and that’s it? What am I going to be sending to OpenAI?
It’ll only work on the latest devices. And that’s fair. The company is still a hardware seller and needs to boost sales. That’s why they don’t give a damn about old devices.

Мои пять копеек к анонсу:
- первый час презентации про анонс сайд баров, перекраски цветов иконок и всякой фигни можно пропустить, завезли Android
- понравились жесты в AirPods, кивнул да, помотал головой нет, этого ждал прям давно
- наконец-то мой мак начнет принимать пуши с телефона, и тестировать станет удобнее
Дальше про AI. Маск сгорел от privacy first компании :) ну и правильно. Но в целом я пока не очень понимаю как это все будет работать по качеству. Тут важно насколько система будет адаптироваться и будет ли. Или мы заморозили веса в памяти и все? Что я буду отдавать в OpenAI?
Работать будет только на последних девайсах. Оно и правильно. Ведь компания до сих пор остается продавцом железа и нужно повышать свои продажи. Поэтому они и не думаю про старые устройства.
