Optional Google Analytics
I use Google Analytics to understand how people find this website, which pages they read, and which links they follow. It loads only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Choosing “No thanks” keeps Google Analytics off.
If you accept, Google receives information about visits, pages, traffic sources, browser and device type, and approximate location such as country or city. Analytics cookies help count visits and returning browsers. These reports do not tell me your name. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled in the website's analytics configuration.
The website removes URL fragments and query parameters from the page address sent to Analytics,
except valid utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign
campaign labels. Referrer query parameters and fragments are removed too.
Link clicks use categories such as “Mirai”, “Telegram”, or “email”;
they do not include the clicked address or email contents.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser. Use “Analytics settings” below to change it. Choosing “No thanks” stops further analytics collection and removes the website's Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice applies to the current page only.

Hosting and other services
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Requests are also subject to GitHub's privacy statement. Essay images may load from Telegram's image servers independently of your analytics choice. Following external links takes you to services with their own privacy policies.
