They announced a presentation, a $700 price tag, and another $25 subscription for OpenAI services you can’t skip. By the way, awesome model — you bought a device that doesn’t work without a subscription. Waiting for an iPhone in the same style. Very solid theme. Kekw.
As for the device and the presentation:
- an omega-innovative approach from the company. Well I mean the level of risk is huge. And I’m sure you need to move into consumer hardware and moreover the combo of AI and hardware is the most powerful thing.
- cool team, but damn, old. I’m watching this presentation and it’s like some old dudes walked out, said their bit, and left, feels like they’re in a different world. A product from old people for old people. Sorry. But I can’t imagine a 15-year-old girl buying herself one because it’s cool. And that feels like an important factor to me.
Drier facts:
- hangs on clothes, pulls down the fabric of light wardrobe items (you can see it on a T-shirt)
- what about rain?
- what about visibility in the rain?
- what about charging?
- and if you clip it on a jacket like in the example and then just toss it on a chair, everything ok?
- what about kids’ hands? Different hand size and so on?
And yeah, I’m not really seeing compatibility with this, even though it’s not required

Анонсировали презентацию, цену в 700 баксов и подписку еще 25 на сервисы от OpenAI которые не скипнуть. Кстати классная модель - ты купил девайс который без подписки не работает. Жду iPhone в таком же стиле. Очень неплохая тема. Кекв.
Касательно девайса и презентации:
- омегаинновационный подход у компании. Ну я имею ввиду степень риска очень большая. И я уверен что двигаться в consumer hardware нужно и более того как раз комбинация ai and hardware самая мощная.
- крутая команда, но блин старая, я смотрю эту презентацию и это старики какие-то вышли сказали и ушли, ощущение что они в другом мире. Продукт от стариков старикам. Простите уж. Но не представляю чтобы девушка 15 лет купила себе такой потому что клево. А это мне кажется важный фактор.
Более сухие факты:
- вешается на одежду оттягивает ткань легких предметов гардероба (видно на футболке)
- что с дождем?
- что с видимостью в дождь?
- что с зарядкой?
- а если повесил на куртку как в примере и поток кинул ее на стул все ок?
- что поводу детских рук? Другой кисти и так далее?
Ну и мне что-то не видится с этим вот совместимости, хотя оно и не обязательно
