Google pays Apple ~20B for their search to be the default there. But that’s profitable like, insanely, I think — can you imagine how many ads get shown there.
But the most interesting thing in this deal is that Google is needed by Apple itself. Because users will riot, and Google’s search quality is kinda higher, seems like (debatable, but the global coverage is definitely better, and here it’s exactly one partner for all markets).

Google платит Apple ~20B за то, чтобы их поиск там стоял. Но это же выгодно просто ну очень я думаю, представляете сколько рекламы там показывается.
Но самое интересно в этой сделке, что Google нужен самой Apple. Потому что и пользователи бунтанут и качество поиска у Google то повыше кажись (спорно, но охват по миру точно лучше и тут как раз один партнер на все рынки).
