I’m one of those people who believe in quantum computing and quantum computers. One of the very important algorithms is Shor’s algorithm. Which will slightly break modern cryptography and RSA. Although I think they’ll switch to quantum-resistant ciphers, but it’s gonna hurt. So there’s an ancient translation of an English article on LJ about the basics of this algorithm. There’s not much math there, but there is a little.

Я один из тех людей, которые верят в квантовые вычисления и квантовые компьютеры. Один из очень важных алгоритмов это алгоритм Шора. Который чуть чуть поломает современную криптографию и RSA. Хотя я думаю перейдут на квантовостойкие шифры, но будет больно. Так вот есть древний перевод англ статьи на ЖЖ по основам данного алгоритма. Математики там мало, но чуть чуть есть.
