It seems to me the key mistake a lot of people make — both founders and funds/investors — is this positioning like: achieving something means getting into YC, speedrunning, taking money from a top fund.
That’s a distortion. And it seems to me people focus on that more than on what they, damn it, are actually doing.
Because the main thing is to take money from top guys (who of course were almost all top at some point ages ago, when getting money from them was harder, because they had little money).

Мне кажется ключевая ошибка многих как фаундеров, так и фондов/инвесторов это позиционирование в стиле: достичь чего-то это значит попасть в YC, speedrun, взять бабки у топ фонда.
Это такое искажение. И мне кажется люди на этом фокусируются больше чем на том что они блин делают.
Ведь главное бабки взять у топ чуваков (топовыми они конечно почти все были когда-то давно, когда деньги получить у них было посложнее, потому что денег у них было мало).
