Lately people keep coming asking, or asking me to help find someone for their startup or wherever. And the description often looks like this:
A great and mighty founder with a super track record is looking for a founding engineer for a new awesome project.
I mean, I get it, sure, but there’s no link to the founder, no track record (like, all his projects are badass and he’s got a ton of exits, but no links), there isn’t even a proper description of the new project (if God willing there’s a link — it’s basically just a name and lines like “we’ll change the world”).
Either I don’t get something, or how did these people ever hire anyone before. How do you sell your idea without even saying who you are and what you are. Oh yeah, and the best part. The founder should be looking themselves, even if they’re super cool. Because we know those projects: “it’s interesting for half a year, and then meh, got bored, no traction or whatever.”

Последнее время часто приходят спросить или помочь найти кого-то в их стартап или еще куда-то. И часто описание выглядит так:
Великий и могучий с супер трек рекордом фаундер ищет в новый офигенный проект фаундинг инженера.
Я конечно все понимаю, но ни ссылки на фаундера, ни его трек рекорда (то есть все проекты у него крутые и куча экзитов, но ссылок нет), даже описания нового проекта толком нет (если дай бог есть ссылка - то там типа название и фразы аля «мы изменим мир»).
Я либо чего-то не понимаю либо, как такие люди вообще ранее кого-то нанимали. Как можно продать свою идею даже не рассказав кто ты и что ты. Ах да и самая деталь. Фаундер должен искать сам, даже если он супер крутой. А то знаем мы такие проекты «пока интересно пол года, а потом надоело что-то трекшена нет».
