Alright, enough with the ololo posts. Back to the “read it, but didn’t fully get it” section. Today there’ll be a lot of random stuff.

1/ A very solid article called
“Domain specific architectures for AI inference” (https://fleetwood.dev/posts/domain-specific-architectures)
for those who are into running and optimizing. What’s more, the article has a bunch of great links.

2/
A genuinely good guide (https://www.bvp.com/atlas/the-founders-playbook-for-scaling-to-1-million-arr)
article on what paths there are to make it to $1M ARR (unlike my advice above) from Bessemer Ventures.

3/ Quantum chips from Microsoft — cancel for now. Way too revolutionary.
Here’s a little overview. (https://quantumfrontiers.com/2025/03/05/what-does-it-mean-to-create-a-topological-qubit/)

4/
Found a pretty interesting prediction (https://sideways-view.com/2023/07/29/self-driving-car-bets/)
about self-driving cars from a dude who worked on an AI alignment team together with Ilya Sutskever and, say, Dario Amodei. And it’s interesting because the situation per the prediction is similar to the whole “in 10 years everything will be!” vibe. But we know how it went with self-driving cars: nope, nope, nothing after ten years :) except a couple cities, and only a little bit.

5/
a funny bench, (https://metr.org/blog/2024-11-22-evaluating-r-d-capabilities-of-llms/)
where they try to compare model performance on tasks a human expert also does. But the most interesting part is that a bunch of models got caught cheating in the literal sense of the word (for example, in a similar chess bench the model was brute-forcing like thousands of positions to see which one fits). And overall there’s a
cool thread (https://x.com/colin_fraser/status/1892721051299172641)
about something slightly different; the original post got deleted btw.

6/
this is the best spec (https://spinroot.com/gerard/pdf/P10.pdf)
for your coding agent

7/ if you, like me, sometimes miss theoretical physics, there’s a good
refresher (https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A2%D0%B5%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%8F_%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B4%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D0%B3%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BF%D0%BF%D1%8B_%D0%9B%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%86%D0%B0)

«Domain specific architectures for AI inference» (https://fleetwood.dev/posts/domain-specific-architectures)
Bessemer Ventures.
(https://quantumfrontiers.com/2025/03/05/what-does-it-mean-to-create-a-topological-qubit/)
4/
